Michelle Arentz is an instructional designer and the founder of Lazarus Learning, a company that provides custom learning and development and employee training content for companies of all sizes. Michelle is determined to make corporate training engaging and appealing, or as she puts it, putting an end to “death by PowerPoint and other sins of learning in the workplace” through online learning programs, videos, workbooks, and more. 

Her website features the following quote on the homepage: “If you think it's expensive to train an employee only to see them leave, what is it costing you (and your customers) to NOT train them, and have them stay??” Companies who invest in training their employees and helping them understand what is expected of them experience less turnover, retain and nurture talent, and ultimately save a great deal of time, money, and frustration over the long haul. And, now more than ever before during the COVID-19 pandemic, companies need to adapt their training, onboarding, and learning and development processes to a remote working environment.
